I established Black Egg Syndicate way back in 1991 when dinosaurs still roamed a molten earth and the world wide web seemed like science fiction.
At the time I did animation and illustrations for comic books, greeting cards, etc, and needed a company name. Something unique, creative, and hopefully memorable.
An egg seemed like a natural beginning, and since I expected to soon be branching out into new areas of art, I wanted a sense of the unknown. What would spring forth from a black egg? And syndicate was added to the name to convey that a network of interdisciplinary professionals could be brought onboard as projects demanded. Which happens. And so...Black Egg Syndicate was born.
No job is too big or too small. We here at Black Egg work on one-off projects, act as sub-contractors and often establish long-term management relationships with our clientele to deliver all their creative needs. However you choose to work, we can make it work. Variety keeps things interesting and new challenges keep us ever evolving. Each experience helps inform the next, so bring it on.
